Notes: This bookette was made with Shrinky
Dinks' Ruff N Ready shrink plastic, which is my favorite. It was colored
with Berol Prismacolors, my favorite pencils. The combination of the
sanded plastic and the waxy pencils gives the book a very textural look. |

Notes: This is a great example of using wire for the binding.
Feathers' binding is very neat and tidy. She also coated the bookie with clear nail polish
to give it a soft, matte look. |
Yes, it is a book! It has a
partial book of the smallest Post-It notes inside!

Notes: The binding is a hinge. See the music
bookette
below for more details. |

Notes: The binding on this book is 18 gauge sterling silver wire.
The wire is too soft and looks shabby after opening the book a few times. I have seen
heavier wire used very effectively. The front is covered with 4 coats of Ultra Thick
Embossing Enamel. The colored background is chalk and the fish is stamped with Fabrico
ink. |

Notes: The binding on this book is heavy thread. It has
to be loose so that the book can be opened. While this looks pretty good, it makes for a
very wobbly book. The yellow background is chalk and the image is stamped with Fabrico
ink. |
